La cérémonie de clôture s'est déroulée dans la salle Valgora, en présence de Michel PELIEU, président du conseil départemental, et de Noël LACAZE, maire de Loudenviellen en présence d'une soixantaine de personnes.

Dans son discours introductif Bertrand TALLON (Achille) a tenu à remercier toutes les personnes ayant contribué à la réussite de cette compétition, notamment tous les élus qui ont permis à Loudenvielle d'être un haut lieu pour la pratique du Vol Libre. Achille a ensuite remercié chaleureusement tous les bénévoles sans qui cette manifestation aurait été impossible.

Monsieur PELIEU a rappelé les excellentes relations qui existent entre le département et nos amis espagnols, juste de l'autre côté de la frontière. Jean-Louis Debiée, vice-président de la FFVL, a tenu également a remercier le club organisateur et les bénévoles, en se réjouissant que le Vol Libre contribue au développement touristique du Val Louron.
C'est Nicolas Orand, président de la commission compétition du CND, qui a brillamment assuré la traduction en direct.

La soirée festive qui a clôturé cette compétition dans la station de ski de Val Louron a été une grande réussite (photos à venir), avec une extraordinaire intervention au violon de "maître Achille".

The closing ceremony took place in the Salle Valgora, in the presence of Michel PELIEU, President of the Conseil Départemental, and Noël LACAZE, Mayor of Loudenvielle, in the presence of around sixty people.
In his introductory speech, Bertrand TALLON (Achille) thanked everyone who had contributed to the success of the competition, in particular all the elected representatives who had made Loudenvielle such a popular venue for hang-gliding. Achille then warmly thanked all the volunteers without whom this event would not have been possible.
Mr PELIEU recalled the excellent relations that exist between the department and our Spanish friends, just across the border. Jean-Louis Debiée, vice-president of the FFVL, also thanked the organising club and the volunteers, and said he was delighted that free flight was contributing to the development of tourism in Val Louron.

Nicolas Orand, chairman of the CND competition commission, provided a brilliant live translation.

The festive evening that brought the competition to a close at the Val Louron ski resort was a great success (photos to follow), with an extraordinary performance on violin by 'Maître Achille'.
